Job description

Customer Service / Sales Assistant must have solid work experience, good work ethic and a passion for providing exceptional customer service and support to sales staff.

Responsibilities:

• Answer telephone, route calls, take messages and provide general information; greet and direct visitors.
• Assist sales reps with creating and sending quotes in the required format.
• Receive, confirm and process customer purchase orders.
• Process sales orders, check for errors and verify shipping information is accurate.
• Communicate with trucking companies, obtain freight quotes, arrange for pick up and transportation of customer orders.
• Complete any follow up calls or emails with customers regarding delivery and payment.
• Assist sales reps with sending sales support materials as needed.
• Track progress of Sales/Production Orders and help resolve issues, if needed.
• Set up and update Prospect records in Sage CRM program.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience and Qualifications Required:

• High School diploma required, College degree a plus.
• 3 – 5 years Customer Service and Sales Support in a Production environment.
• Quick Books experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Good organizational, time management skills and the ability to multi task.
