We are looking for an energetic, hardworking, fun-loving person who is excited about teamwork and meeting their goals to join our Farm Bureau insurance team in West Jordan. Regular business hours are Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., closed weekends, and PAID holidays off. We offer an hourly wage, plus commission and bonus!

Essential Functions and Responsibilities include:

• Inbound and outbound sales calls to prospects for new business.
• Applicant must be able to listen attentively to customer needs and concerns; Greet customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner.
• Applicant should be a self-starter with the ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize within a fast-paced office environment.
• Ability to ask prying questions and diffuse tense situations.
• Meet new business production goals and objectives.
• Document each customer contact in the agency management system.
• Respond to customer queries in a timely and effective manner.

Job Requirements:

• Must get a Property & Casualty insurance license within 30 days of being hired.
• Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
