Join our TEAM! Established in 1971, EMCO Chemical Distributors, Inc. is a privately owned chemical company recognized as one of the leading providers of chemicals and chemical related products and services in North America. EMCO is looking for a full-time, first shift, Customer Service Representative in the Packaging Division, at our North Chicago, IL facility. This position is not direct hire, but temp to perm through a contracted temp agency until the end of a short evaluation period. Position will be trained onsite, but may temporarily move to working remotely during the ongoing pandemic.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Enter and track new customer orders.
• Make changes to existing customer orders.
• Answer customer/sales representative emails and phone calls.
• Keep customers informed on their orders.
• Monitor customer supplied inventory as needed.
• Prepare paperwork for billing.

Qualifications and Skills

• High School Diploma required.
• Customer Service experience desired.
• Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook required, along with typing filing and basic PC skills.
