As the Customer Service Specialist, you will provide professional customer service to both internal and external customers. You will collaborate with customers, our Customer Service team, our Operations and Sales team, to assist our customers and resolve issues.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Assist customers via phone, email and web chat with inquiries including, but not limited to: tracing shipments, rate quotes, scheduling pickups and billing and/or invoicing questions.
- Perform general clerical duties as assigned, including, but not limited to: answering and directing phone calls and light data entry.
- Monday - Friday, 0930 to 1800
- Enjoy a casual dress code (blue jeans are OK).
What you need to succeed at YELLOW Freight:
At a minimum, you will need:
- Ability to problem solve
- Strong computer and typing skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- High School Diploma
It’d be great if you also have:
- Type 40 words per minute
- Previous Customer Service Experience
- Transportation experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
