Job Summary

The Customer Service Attendant/CSA position is to provide a friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional experience for our customers. It is your responsibility to ensure that customers enter and exit the facility having the best possible experience. Cashiers attitude directly affects how the Grazianos company is perceived.

I) CROSS FUNCTIONAL POSITION TRAINING

i) CASHIER

a) Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering establishments with a smile.
• Answer phone call in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Answer customers' questions and requests.
• Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits.
• Issue refunds, voids, or credits to customers with manager approval.
• Assist customers by providing information and resolving their complaints.
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
• Calculate total payments received during a time period and reconcile this with total sales.
• Monitor checkout stations to ensure that they have adequate cash available and that they are staffed appropriately.
• Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas and complete other general cleaning duties, such as mopping floors and emptying trash cans.
• Sort, count, and wrap currency and coins.
• Cross functional tasks. Fill in for Bakery Attendant, Busser, and Food Runner when necessary.

ii) BAKER ATTENDANT

a) Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Smile and greet each guest with eye contact.
• Must have full knowledge of the menu and items in Bakery Cases (Cakes, Pastries and Cookies).
• Take Catering Orders.
• Answer Phone in Bakery.
• Suggestively offer specials: Drinks, desserts, coffee (specialty).
• Restocking and rolling silverware.

iii) FOOD RUNNER/BUSSER

a) Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Smile and greet each guest with eye contact.
• Must have full knowledge of the menu.
• Always walk away from table with hands full.
• Suggestive Selling.
• Clean tables, chairs, and floors. Remove dirty dishes, set tables, replenish supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware condiments & bread.
• Assist with stocking stations.
• Keep water glasses full.
• Facilitate food service.
• Pre-bussing tables. The only thing left should be glasses, dessert plates and coffee cups.
• Check with guest to make sure that they are enjoying their meals and be initiative-taking to correct any problem.
• Look around before returning to kitchen. Be aware of any guests that need assistance.
