Base Salary Range: $96,800.00 - $121,000.00

Target Total Cash Range: $125,840.00 - $157,300.00

Target Total Cash: Target total cash represents this role's annualized cash earning potential at target (base salary + target bonus). Target total cash is contingent on targeted company performance achievement and individual attainment of performance goals. Therefore, target total cash is not guaranteed earnings.

Description & Requirements

The Customer Sales Manager (CSM) is responsible for the specific category selling efforts with their customer as a member of the Customer Business Team (CBT). The CSM leads their categories and responsibilities optimally as the liaison between Kraft Heinz and the Customer’s HQ Team. Owning all selling activities- the CSM aims to deliver revenue and share objectives- pursue business strategies to of growth- provides category management expertise- and ensures that coordinated cross-functional sales value is delivered to the customer through implementation of the sales plan and shelving objectives.

This position will preferably be based in the Mountain West region due to Customer connectivity.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Effectively partner with the customer- building rapport at all levels to fully understand their business- the marketplace- and affect positive business growth
  • Coach and Enable Broker partners to unlock category management and product selling on behalf of KHC
  • Achieve New Item Authorization goals- Distribution goals- & Base Business Objectives: Revenue and Share Growth- Authorizations- Distribution- Optimal Shelving
  • Achieve promotional revenue objectives by tactic- price point- Drive Period & Selling Event while effectively implementing Kraft Heinz pricing strategies for owned categories
  • Maintain files and business documentation to thoroughly detail business transactions and Broker commissions

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in customer management- account management- and/or retail sales management- preferably for a CPG company
  • Strong sales background with an excellent understanding of business processes and Category Management
  • Experience in applying a customer-first mentality for effective customer management and selling to achieve objectives
  • Ability to work independently and within a CBT framework to plan- organize and set/achieve priorities
  • Polished interpersonal skills (written- verbal- presentation)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong analytical skills; Use and understanding of syndicated data; develop comprehensive business plans by analyzing category and brand performance and influences customer to achieve category objectives.
  • Willing to travel 10-20% out of the area as needed (Mountain West)
