Location: Wolfe Industrial, Inc. shop and at offsite work locations as needed
Reporting Relationship: Reports to Shop Foreman
Supervises: No direct reports
Job Summary:
This person is expected to have a solid understanding of the process required to keep both the shop and the office areas clean and free from clutter.
Job Responsibilities:
- Clean and buff the office floors.
- Stock the office refrigerator as needed.
- Empty all trash, including the shredder, trash cans in the shop, and office trash cans daily, and as needed.
- Sweep the shop floor daily.
- Clean the shop bathrooms and sinks daily
- Clean and sweep the breakroom daily.
- Clean and sweep the locker room as needed.
- Remove waste from the trench in the washbay and place it in a barrel for disposal as needed.
- General cleaning of back yard and employee parking area
- Utilize forklift to move product
- Other duties as assigned by the Shop Foreman
Other:
- Manually load and unload product onto and off of various locations up to 50 lbs. in weight.
- Draw and submit plans for upcoming projects based upon initial scope of work.
- Clean up work area at the end of each shift.
- Operate overhead cranes.
- Drive company vehicles.
Context Information:
Will be held solely accountable and responsible for all work performed on the job. All responsibilities will take place in a safe and well-lit environment, whether indoors or outdoors. This person may also be responsible for delivering product to job sites and picking up materials as needed.
Supplementary Information- Machines, Tools, Equipment and Work Aids (MTEWA) required for completion of function
The following items will be utilized by the CUSTODIAN to successfully fulfill the requirements of this position:
- Forklift
- Push Broom
- Mop and mop bucket
- General other light cleaning tools
- Cleaning agents, chemicals
- Company vehicle
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license
- Current DOT Health Card
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- The ability to read, write, and complete basic mathematic computations
- The desire to learn and the eagerness to accept other tasks and learning opportunities as they present themselves
