CUSTODIAL CREW LEADER

Department - Custodial

The Huntingdon County Commissioners are accepting applications for the position of Custodial Crew Leader. Interested applicants should submit a Resume by the close of business on February 12, 2021.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

1. Supervise custodial staff.

2. Clean floors including sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing.

3. Maintain lights including replacing bulbs and ballasts.

4. Inspect offices, hallways and steps.

5. Take out trash.

6. Deliver mail and office supplies.

7. Maintain bathrooms including soap dispensers and faucets.

8. Inspect EMA generator.

9. Able to react productively to change and handle other essential duties as assigned.

Job Specifications

A. Education - High school diploma or equivalent required.

B. Experience - None required.

C. General Requirements

Ability to speak and write English effectively.

Ability to communicate in an appropriate manner and get along well with others.

Ability to understand and follow simple oral and/or written instructions.

Ability to make minor decisions using good judgment and acting in accordance with established policies and procedures.

D. Specific Requirements

Able to operate basic handtools and cleaning implements including a vacuum cleaner and floor scrubber.
