We’re looking for an amazing Cruise Vacation Planner to join our Cunard brand with offices in Santa Clarita, CA. Cunard is one of the oldest and most famous ocean liners in the world. You’ll be responsible for providing the highest level of customer service and sales interactions and will work to promote and sell cruise vacation packages to a portfolio of guests. You will also manage a database of guests and consumers who have expressed interest in Cunard Line cruise packages.

This is a base hourly PLUS commission outbound telephone sales position. This position will offer ~ 10-12 weeks paid training with a current training schedule of Monday - Friday, 8:30AM - 5:15pm PST. Training will be in house and virtual currently scheduled for mid-May.

Responsibilities

• Contacts guests and clients through outbound calling efforts.
• Applies professional sales techniques in the promotion and sale of cruises and land packages.
• Builds personal clientele base and brand loyalty.
• Provides superior customer service to all guests.
• Meets monthly and annual departmental revenue and call volume standards.
• Assists with any additional projects or duties as assigned by the Manager and/or supervisors of Customer Service.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
• Must be a highly motivated sales professional with experience in developing new business.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in positions in customer service or sales preferred.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, Outlook
• Detailed orientated, with ability to work independently
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to achieve personal goals and support departmental objectives
• Able to work flexible hours, including weekends
• Experience in the travel and hospitality industry preferred.
• Experience working in a high-volume call center is preferred
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Princess/Cunard is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-1B status).

• Hourly Base Range: $14.47 to $19.52 The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
