Detailed Description:

  • Complete assigned tasks as a part of the CrossFlo Program (internal engineering program within allotted timeframe and verify completion of field-oriented tasks through weekly updates provided to designated management personnel
  • Attend mandatory technical schools designed to teach technical topics related to required phase training
  • Complete “technical project” for each phase of training; project assigned is based on current phase of training
  • Assist with Sales, Engineering, and/or Operations issues, where applicable
  • Represent the Company and our values with integrity while maintaining the highest ethical and legal standards with all interactions
  • Adhere to the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Perform higher level algebraic calculations for job related purposes
  • Demonstrate excellent computer skills with focus on Microsoft (MS) Excel and field software
  • Ability to work well with others and work independently when required
  • Demonstrate the ability to operate and maintain equipment
  • Demonstrate clear communication skills including ability to read, write and speak English, and to promptly follow verbal and written directions in English along with the ability to establish and maintain effective rapport with all employees at different levels both in the office and in the field
  • Possess strong organizational skills and multi-task efficiently
  • Demonstrate professionalism and a strong desire to learn
  • Willing to work extended schedules that may include days or nights, as well as weekends and holidays in different weather conditions
  • Ability to travel as needed to other offices and work sites, occasionally requiring extended travel to remote locations and/or overnight stay(s) outside normal office area
  • Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all designated times
  • Must be able to meet physical requirements of the job including but not limited to working on your feet, climbing ladders, working outdoors, and lifting

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Mechanical Engineering Tech (MET), Chemical, or related field of study)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous engineering internship/job experience
  • Hands-on experience (may or may not be job related)
  • Mechanically inclined

The Field Engineer I (FE) must work with an emphasis on individual safety and safety for others, including coworkers and third parties. This position requires working outdoors for long periods of time in all types of weather conditions typical of the area where the job is located, including dust, humidity, sleet, snow, rain, mud, cold, heat, wind, and other inclement weather. Working conditions for this position may involve exposure to varying outdoor conditions, including environmental chemicals, gases, noise, dampness, fumes, radiation, and heights.
