Good afternoon.
Sault Ste Marie, Michigan has an excellent opportunity for a BE/BC CRNA with at least one year of experience. This is a great place to visit or live, lots to do: view the working locks connecting the Georgian Bay & Lakes Huron & Michigan to Lake Superior, outdoor recreation, including water sports, arts, museums, cultural events, and a short drive across the beautiful Salt Ste. Marie International Bridge into Canada. This is beautiful country! This gorgeous area offers an opportunity for a CRNA to assist in providing breaks for a strong anesthesia team that gives CRNAs autonomy. Please see details below:
CRNAs - Sault Ste. Marie, MI - Great Views of the Locks & Canada
- Location: Sault Ste. Marie, MI
- Setting: Hospital/Inpatient
- Schedule: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
- Shifts: 8 hours, 7am-3pm + One Night of Call per week; Weekend call likely needed before or after week of coverage; Orientation is 2 hrs (5-7p on Sun before 1st day, but could possibly do Mon am)
- Dates of Coverage:
- May 22nd - May 26th
- May 29th - Jun 2nd
- June 12th - Jun 16th
- July 3rd - Jul 7th
- July 17th - Jul 21st
- July 31st - Aug 4th
- Aug 14th - Aug 18th
- Aug 21st - Aug 25th
- Requirements:
- Active, Unrestricted MI License or IMLC
- Board Certified Nurse Anesthetist with 1 or more years unsupervised experience
- Clean DEA/Malpractice
- Must have Labor pain management skills including Patient Controlled Epidural Analgesia
- ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications
- Rate: Give me your going rate and I will negotiate for it; I can also give you comps if you aren’t sure
- EMR: Meditech/Dragon
- Types of Surgeries: healthy peds (mostly ENT), ortho, urology, general surgery, OB/GYN, Podiatry, Ophthalmology, Bariatric, Robot-assisted laparoscopy
- Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days but applications are prioritized according to start date
- Travel & Lodging covered
- Malpractice Insurance covered
