Summary:
The Creative Content Producer is responsible for assisting the development and execution of video and photo content for the Montgomery Biscuits. This position will design, shoot, edit, and produce a high volume of projects throughout the year — including pieces that appear on the club’s social media channels, in-stadium at home games and across traditional media platforms. This is a full-time internship role, with a possibility of extending to a full-time permanent position following the season.
Essential Job Functions:
- Create engaging video and photo content for multiple platforms ranging from promotional materials to in-game action, and other club events.
- Collaborate with various internal teams — sales, sponsorship, etc. — to conceptualize and execute projects for clients.
- Stay on top of trends within the video, sports social media and motion graphics/animation industries.
- Develop a working knowledge of press box equipment and software and support where needed
- Assist with in-game promotion preparation and other marketing duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Understanding of cinematography and animation principles.
- Working knowledge of DSLR cameras and associated equipment, including sound and lighting gear.
- Prior experience with a professional or college sports team is a plus
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
Normal hours of work & days are Monday through Friday, 8:30a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Due to the nature of this position, the position requires hours of work and days that include frequent nights, weekends and holiday. This includes attendance at all home baseball games.
