About the Role
As courtesy patrol you will impact the lives of our residents and staff through monitoring all areas of the retirement facility in order to ensure a safe and secure environment.

What You'll Do
As a member of our team you will have an impact on our clients through accomplishment of the following responsibilities:

• Inspect all areas of the facility for safety and fire hazards. Document findings and notify the Director of Maintenance and appropriate department. Patrol secured areas to ensure all doors are appropriately locked/unlocked.
• Respond to all fire alarms. Contain fire until fire department arrives and assist department with moving patients or controlling crowds. Perform monthly fire drills on evening shifts.
• Respond to all emergency situations in order to resolve any incident which could potentially harm personnel, residents and visitors. Call for outside assistance as needed.

What You'll Bring to the Team
To be successful in this role and a great addition to our team we need you to come with the following:

• A High School Diploma (or G.E.D.) so as to have the knowledge to complete work orders. This entails reading, writing and following instructions.
• Age 25 with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record so you can be insured on the Buckner insurance and drive company vehicles.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to use tact and courtesy in interactions with coworkers, residents, resident families, visitors and vendors.
