Matheson Gas offers:

• Starting wage: Up to $25.00 per hour!

Job Summary:

Answer and process incoming customer phone calls, email, fax orders and inquiries. Assist with overall daily operation of the store and offer excellent customer service to walk-in customers. Work with outside sales staff to maintain highest standard of excellent customer relations while pursuing new opportunities for up-selling daily.

Requirements:

• Education - High School Diploma or GED
• Knowledge/experience in compressed gases, welding and safety supply industry or chemical industry a plus but not required
• Warehouse – Product stocking and picking experience preferred
• Excellent customer service skills. Ability to establish and manage customer relationships.
• Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines.
• Demonstrates a clear and effective speaking manner for the purpose of explaining information to customers and employees.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Excellent Telephone Communications Skills.
• Excellent Organizational Skills.
• Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook E-mail).
