The Corporate Recruiter is responsible for the coordination and execution of the onboarding workflow for all new hire candidates. Additionally, the Recruiter assists the Corporate Recruiting Team with the life-cycle recruitment of non-exempt and temporary personnel to meet staffing goals.
This includes generating and maintaining a strong candidate pipeline for open positions by sourcing, screening, scheduling, and confirming appointments between qualified applicants and respective hiring managers and utilizing the applicant tracking system to process and disposition candidates.

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Initiate and monitor the completion of all new hire pre-employment background checks and drug screens
  • Initiate and monitor the progress of the new hire onboarding process using ATS online systems
  • Assist all new hires in the completion of their new hire paperwork as needed
  • Create new employee files through the ATS
  • Identify resolution to issues and take actions as-well able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Analyze reports on a weekly basis to identify recruitment needs
  • Meet with the Corporate Recruiting Team and with internal customers to understand and analyze the recruitment forecast
  • Schedule job interviews by calling and emailing applicants and using an ATS online scheduling system
  • Manage the full life-cycle recruiting process for assigned roles, including but not limited to:
  • Screen resumes, interview candidates, and administer appropriate assessments
  • Refer qualified candidates through the selection process
  • Assure legal compliance through pre-employment; I-9
  • Counsel candidates on the corporate environment, benefits, and programs
  • Facilitate the interview team debrief process to calibrate candidates, determine next steps, and refine the sourcing plan as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to present and maintain a positive corporate image in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products including; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
  • General computer skills - Microsoft Office, Outlook, AS400
  • Experience with ATS tools a plus
  • Must be proficient with Tenstreet Software

Skills:

  • The ideal candidate will possess a “can do” attitude with a “will do” work ethic
  • Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced/high volume sales environment
  • Transportation industry knowledge and experience are a plus
  • 3+ years of recruitment experience
