The partnership’s assets include approximately 50,000 miles of pipelines; 260 million barrels of storage capacity for NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals; and 14 billion cubic feet of natural gas storage capacity.
The Marine Supply Coordinator will coordinate, track and manage inventory, tools, and more. The Coordinator will also assist in the purchasing of inventory and tools, make sure quality standards are maintained, purchase and track supplies and vendor receipts for shipyard projects. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate warehousing operations, including the ordering, receiving, storage, and distribution of equipment and materials.
  • Maintains a secure warehouse environment for company-owned material to ensure proper accountability of assets.
  • Ensures inventory balances remain accurate by proper completion of documents to ensure receipt.
  • Ensures transactions of company material are in accordance with established procedures.
  • Is aware of material requiring special handling and monitors time-controlled materials to ensure items are dealt with accordingly, appropriately and within the specified time frame.
  • Participate in the daily vetting/approval process for grocery orders submitted by vessels.
  • Receive daily shipment from grocery vendor and make sure that all orders are accounted for and are to the quality standard expected.
  • Stock coolers, freezers, and carts when the orders have been received.
  • Load approximately 5-20 crew trucks daily as a part of a consolidated effort to expedite the crew change process.
  • Make sure the EMS Commissary is clean and orderly on a daily basis.
  • Perform daily QC inspection of due dates, condition of perishable foods, etc. of our daily grocery delivery and create report with findings.
  • Reviews stock locations to determine replenishment requirements.
  • Identify and locate suitable surplus for reuse within the company.
  • Provide analysis on part consumption and consumption of facilities and overall area.
  • Code and track stocking expenses for facilities.
  • Work with supervisors to identify and anticipate materials needed for upcoming and ongoing work.
  • Act quickly to order parts and make decisions in ordering emergency parts or supplies.
  • Maintain tracking of equipment/parts being sent out for repair.
  • Demonstrate time management skills.
  • Purchase materials, services and equipment at the lowest cost without sacrificing quality and specification requirements.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and service providers.
  • Understand the needs and requirements of internal customers and work to ensure these needs are met within the parameters of the Supply Chain Management process and the business objectives.
  • Assist in issue resolution with suppliers and internal customers.
  • Serve as the lead on core elements of the sourcing process including: demand planning, supplier management and stock replenishment.
  • Will work closely with local personnel and with internal groups such as Operations, Maintenance, EHS&T, and others.
  • Contribute to business unit team for a common goal of overall unit success

Qualifications
The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:

  • A High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Proficient computer skills are required.
  • Experience in a gas or petroleum related industry is preferred.
  • Stockroom/warehouse experience is preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to work indoors or outdoors in variety of weather conditions is required.
  • Must have the ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with other individuals, teams, customers, and stakeholders of the business, at various levels of the organization, in a businesslike and professional manner is required.
  • Ability to be a self-starter requiring minimum supervision is required.
  • Must have an in depth knowledge of safe work practices and procedures.
  • Must have the ability to make good decisions while exercising good judgment.
  • Must have the ability to adapt in a fast paced environment.
  • Must have the ability to take charge during emergency situations, to ensure safe and accurate response.
  • Must have the ability to demonstrate conscientiousness, dependability, and commitment to the role, team, and company.
  • Must have the ability to assume responsibility, be flexible, perform duties and handle multiple tasks under potentially stressful and/or hazardous conditions.
  • Takes initiative and is proactive in addressing issues. Quickly and efficiently completes tasks.
  • Teamwork, technical knowledge and concern for accuracy are required.
  • Ability to prioritize work and problem solving skills are required.
  • A valid driver's license with acceptable driving record is required.
  • Must satisfactorily pass a drug screen.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds.
