Cook – Saint Luke’s East (our Lee’s Summit location) – Fulltime Swing Shift

The Opportunity:

Saint Luke’s East in Lee's Summit is seeking a Cook to be responsible for the active participation in the workflow in the Nutrition Service Department including, but not limited to: preparation, delivery, or service to customers. Your experience and expertise in Food Services will allow you to successfully serve a diverse population of customers. Shift Details:

• Full time position – 40 hours

• Work Week – Monday to Friday

• Rotating Weekends (Every other weekend)

• This position would work 8-hour shifts.

• Shift hours would be a mix of opening and closing shifts. Opening shifts starting at 4:30 a.m. and closing shifts ending at 7:30 p.m.

The Work:

• Set up, food preparation, clean up, and sanitation of work areas, dishes, wares, or equipment

• Accountable for inventory control, product rotation, proper labeling, and safe food handling practices

• Accountable for operations when the Manager and Work Leaders are not available
