Gemini (Geminiams.com) is looking for a contract Web Developer who has strong technical skills and is extremely proficient in custom WordPress development. The ideal candidate should be meticulous in their coding, tests for quality assurance, and is passionate about enhancing the user experience. For our digital programs to be successful, the online traffic we create must lead to a high-functioning, user-friendly website. Therefore, in many ways, our web development and design work is truly the epicenter of our business.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Develop custom WordPress sites
- Monitor and manage monthly web maintenance packages.
- Optimize sites for maximum speed and scalability, including mobile sites.
- Work tightly with various digital teams recommending website updates and optimizations.
- Troubleshoot website issues and concerns.
- Opportunity to develop custom WordPress sites
- Present ideas/concepts/recommendations to clients.
ABOUT YOU
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in front end development, ideally in an agency environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while working quickly without sacrificing quality.
- Communicator Extraordinaire: exceptionally strong written and verbal skills.
- Strong knowledge of WordPress, PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, Grunt, SASS, and CSS.
- Strong understanding of various browser capabilities and accessibility requirements.
- General understanding of SEO best practices as it pertains to web development.
- Must be incredibly detailed with an eye for perfection.
- Ability to determine task priority with shifting projects
- Good use of time management
