Rooster Teeth is looking for a brilliant and creative social media production mind to take our social content under the Achievement Hunter brand to the next level. Achievement Hunter’s Social Media Video Producer will oversee social video content for all content under the Achievement Hunter Brand. They will report to the Achievement Hunter Supervising Producer, and work closely with the creative director and all Achievement Hunter talent. This role will take an idea from start to finish. This includes ideation, production, editing, and posting of content made for social media platforms. The prime candidate should be not only up to date on trends across those social media platforms but also look continuously forward at the next big thing and apps in social content. We want someone to not just follow trends but also create them! This person will work alongside a social media assistant so an ability to communicate, delegate and positively mentor is key. Existing knowledge of Achievement Hunter and Rooster Teeth content is a huge plus, but not required.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Pitch and develop creative ideas for social content across various Achievement Hunter and Achievement Hunter-adjacent brands (such as Face Jam and F**K Face).
- Collaborate with Achievement Hunter talent and producers on ideas and social campaigns
- Own social projects from start to completion: ideation, shooting, and editing
- Quickly implement notes on cuts from key stakeholders
- Collaborate with social media and marketing teams
- Gather, track and report the information necessary to make key production and delivery decisions that impact budget and schedule
- The ability to adapt quickly and be flexible with recordings and last-minute changes. Be able to see problems before they arise.
- Support marketing, outreach, and promotional efforts for productions, including sharing of assets and release dates
- Maintain a team environment that includes the Achievement Hunter Social Media Assistant
- Maintain a healthy work/life balance
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree in Marketing, New Media or Production-related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 2-3 Years working in a professional social media environment
- Experienced with social media platforms including TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube
- On top of new social media trends with motivation to contribute and a hunger for continuous learning
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with high attention to detail
- Critical thinking and troubleshooting experience
- Ability to lead, execute and deliver in a fast-paced environment
- Strong and self-starting organizational skills
- Understand the importance of DEI
- Must have an understanding of video file formats
- Proficiency of Adobe Creative Suite and other office software
