Overview: This position will start with assisting in all areas of Contract Administration, ranging from preparing bid opportunities and submittals to renewing licenses, certificates of insurance and bonds. This position will openly communicate with multiple Project Managers and Contract Administrator team, to manage and develop workflow process.

Initial Responsibilities:

  • Apply for and renew licenses, bonds, and COI’s.
  • Create job numbers, proposals, bid opportunities.
  • Assist Contract Administration with data entry and opportunity detail.

Developing Responsibilities:

  • Work on opportunity bids and material estimating.
  • Pursue RFP development and execution of opportunity.
  • Prepare detailed cost proposals that respond to customer requirements.
  • Actively coordinate and support purchasing activities. Obtain material prices, availability and compare quotations. Execute, track and document sourcing efforts resulting in cost benefits.
  • Draft or prepare written documentation and spreadsheets pertaining to bidding process. Responsible for data integrity of contract database.

Essential Education, Qualifications and Preferred Skills:

  • Willingness to learn, ask question and advance in the position.
  • Extensive reading of documents and websites.
  • Ability to follow established procedures.
  • Requires a minimum level of experience in contract administration.
  • Must possess strong organizational and communication skills with an attention to detail.
  • Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel.
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team setting.
  • Knowledge and experience in the construction and/or insurance industry.
