Position Summary: The COTA is responsible for providing direct resident care in accordance with established plans and under the direction of a Licensed Occupational Therapist. This is a floating position between two buildings.
Job Duties:
Conducts and documents occupational therapy treatments to residents according to the established treatment plan and under the direction of a Licensed Occupational Therapist.- Comply with treatment and documentation guidelines and in accordance with federal and state guidelines.
- Completes required documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
- Provides regular resident status updates to appropriate personnel.
Qualifications
Completion of an approved occupational therapist assistants program.- Valid license as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant in the State of Ohio.
- Minimum of one (1) year of therapy experience in a setting serving the same age/type of resident population served by this facility.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
