Circa continues to grow rapidly and we’re adding a Content Writer to our team! This person will create informative and engaging content on a wide range of subjects within Circa’s products. You’ll also conduct thorough research on a variety of topics, generate ideas for new content types, proofread articles before publication, and work with 3rd party resources to develop content on an as-needed basis. In addition, you will manage, update, and edit existing content as necessary.
About You
You are a strong and clear communicator, both written and oral, with exceptional multi-tasking skills, time management, and detail-orientation. You have a strong understanding of grammar rules, how to construct clear sentences, and are mindful of flow, readability, and sentence variety. You think creatively, which fuels your motivation to present various topics in an imaginative and appealing way. You have a passion for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and strive to write in a modern and inclusive voice.
You have proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, Editor, or similar role. You either have a degree or the equivalent combination of education and professional work experience in Journalism, English, Communications, or another related field. You may also have a background in human resources, talent acquisition, DEI, or instructional writing.
About the Position
As a Content Writer, you’ll write, own, edit, and manage the content for Circa’s products and tools. You will identify our customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics. You will conduct in-depth research on various topics to develop original content. You will also communicate and collaborate with other members of the team to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Our Product Management Team:

• The Product Management team drives Circa’s success for its clients. Our Product Managers, UX/R Specialists and Strategists, and Learning Specialists collaborate extensively to understand key product opportunities, gaps, client needs and ways to positively impact efficacy
• We leverage data to guide decisions for product strategy and help us identify new products to buy, build, or partner for revenue growth
• Our tools and methodologies include Appcast, Azure DevOps, Google Analytics, Salesforce, Survey Monkey, Conjointly, Heap and Appcues
• We’re currently working on products that fulfil needs and gaps in our SaaS-based Employer and Job Seeker, OFCCP, and Diversity portfolios, including affirmative action plans, pay equity, diversity training and planning, and outreach management

Day in the Life
A successful Content Writer at Circa will add value to our products by creating engaging content and driving our industry thought-leadership.
Most days will involve:

• Delivering high-quality content within fast-paced production cycles
• Learning and contributing to the Circa content style parameters
• Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies
• Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability
• Working proactively to deepen your understanding of our market, customers, and products
• Utilizing industry best practices and familiarity with our organization’s mission to inspire ideas and content

Additional responsibilities may include:

• Managing or supporting initiatives that contribute to product team and company goals
• Continually researching and digesting competitive landscape and industry at large to gain knowledge of trends
