Job description

The Content Editor/Proofer’s main responsibility is to review and edit all written content that is created for our 50+ clients. The E/P will also manage publication projects and work with our design team coordinating internal and external edits. The E/P will work under the direction of the Editorial Manager and assists by providing input on priorities and procedures.

Description:

• Editing, reviewing and proofing of content, language usage, grammar and consistency/ relevance of content, brand voice
• Take complete ownership over content requirements for client projects
• Participate in team activities; show enthusiasm about new streams of work and work towards acquiring new skills
• Written and oral communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with clients as well as team members
• Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously, working under pressure and meeting strict deadlines
• Excellent organization and multitasking skills
• Review project at each development stage to ensure all required content is accurate and present
• Review final documents, ensure they meet corporate standards and expectations, serving as content quality gatekeeper

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of the English language
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Some experience with Monday.com or other project management software
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, Grammarly
• Willingness to learn new things
• Team player
• Minimum Education: High School Diploma
• Minimum Experience: 1-2 years preferred
