SMC Construction, Inc., is one of the leading remodeling companies in the Twin Cities metro area has an immediate openings for a full-time Carpenter Apprentices to join our growing team. Carpenters will be directed from our Spring Lake Park location.

• Full-time Monday - Friday work schedule
• Overtime

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 6 months experience in carpentry and/or interior remodeling
• Ability to follow directions and perform most carpentry tasks
• Skilled at reading construction plans and interpreting written projects scopes
• Communicate clearly and listen carefully
• General understanding of materials and installation involved in most interior remodeling projects such as kitchens and bathroom projects.
• Can-do attitude
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation

DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:

• Framing and insulation
• Demolition and site clean up
• Hauling materials
• Cabinet installation and finish millwork installation
• Flooring and backsplash installation
• Drywall installation, including mudding, taping, sanding, etc.
• Window and door installation
