Job description

RDI is looking for construction laborers to work in a busy and growing industry with a demand for workers that can meet background checks with Government and Military agencies.

Construction Laborer Responsibilities:

• Operate and care for construction equipment and machines
• Help equipment operator and other skilled labor when necessary
• Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards
• Load or unload construction materials
• Put together and take apart temporary structures, such as scaffolding
• Remove, fill, or compact earth
• Follow instructions from supervisors
• Assist craft workers
• Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary
• Perform site clean-up
• Must have experience as a general laborer in the construction industry
• Welding experience preferred but not required
• Davis-Bacon wages will sometimes apply depending on job site
• Must have valid driver license AND submit a 5 year MVR
• Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks
• Ability to work in all weather and travel when required to California, Texas or New Mexico (RDI would provide transportation and hotel/RV accommodations)
• Workers must be punctual and reliable
• Employees must be able to work outside under weather conditions such as heat, cold, etc.

• Brick work
• Concrete work
• Demolition and/or cleanup
• Excavation
• Masonry
• Remodeling and/or retrofitting
• Road traffic control
• Shoring and bracing
• Steel work
