Underground Infrastructure Technologies (UIT), LLC. is a full-service utility contractor specializing in trenchless technologies headquartered in Denver, Colorado. We provide wet and dry utility installations utilizing both open cut and trenchless technologies to complete projects for Departments of Transportation, Federal and State agencies, as well as local municipalities and sewer and water districts. We have successfully completed projects for both public and private entities, with sizes ranging from 4” through 129” in diameter. Our expertise and experience utilizing trenchless technologies allows us to address both complicated soil types and high ground water conditions. Some of the technologies utilized include Micro Tunneling, Guided Boring (GBM), Pipe Jacking, Horizontal Auger Boring, Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM), Pipe Ramming, Pipe Bursting, Conventional Hand Tunneling and Sliplining.


Our staff is highly experienced in both field operations as well as construction and project management capabilities and utilizes state of the art estimating, project management, scheduling and job cost tracking software to ensure project compliance tracking and transparency. As a sister company to Harrison Western Construction Corporation, a 50+ year old firm, we are able to leverage superior leadership, management, process orientation and senior oversight on all projects large and small, delivering superior results on time and under budget for our clients. We have successfully completed projects ranging from $5,000 to $15,000,000 in size for both public and private entities.


We are looking for an experienced Construction Foreman to join our growing team. The Foreman is responsible for leading the jobsite and crew to ensure the job is completed safely, accurately and on time.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Take instructions for daily tasks from the Superintendent
  • Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders and forklifts
  • Operate auger boring equipment, experience operating TBM, MTBM and Pipe Ram is considered a plus
  • Lead Safety and Toolbox meetings with crew
  • Ensure all work plans and JHA’s are covered before tasks are started
  • Complete daily log of work performed
  • Inspect work progress, equipment and construction sites to ensure specifications are met
  • Supervise crew members
  • Perform safety inspections of work area
  • Train personnel as needed
  • Travel may be required up to 30%

Skills and Specifications:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in utility construction
  • Ability to take direction from supervision
  • Experience with Construction survey
  • Welding experience preferred
  • OSHA training preferred
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record and reliable transportation
  • Recognize hazards and safety risks
  • Familiar with equipment and tools required for the position
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Work in a standing, seated, or other physical positions
  • Preferred supervisory experience


Compensation and Benefits:

  • Compensation $32.00 to $44.00 per hour DOE
