THE CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATOR AT CPL

The Construction Coordinator works closely with seasoned engineers and architects to manage documentation for diverse building renovation and new construction projects. Reporting to a Project Manager, you compile and consolidate information into detailed reports; oversee bidding; arrange client meetings; and serve as a liaison between internal and external teams, striving to establish and maintain robust partnerships. Your attention to detail and high standards are paramount to the success of the entire team.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

  • You have strong attention to detail, accompanied by a sense of urgency and creative problem-solving skills
  • You’re technically savvy, with proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and other productivity programs
  • You have exceptional interpersonal capabilities, which you employ in verbal and written communication with clients, consultants and internal teams
  • You earned an AS degree and have at least three (3) years in commercial construction – or have an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A working knowledge of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and Newforma software is a major plus

CORE DUTIES

  • Review and make comments regarding construction documents, including but not limited to bid ads, specifications, submittals, requests for information (RFIs), contract pay applications, change orders and other related documents
  • Coordinate project bidding, encompassing pre-bid walkthroughs, bid addenda and opening and contractor qualification processes
  • Arrange project and job site meetings and inspections and fulfill client requests, interfacing with contractors as needed
  • Maintain project filing and perform other general office duties as assigned

  • FREE Life Insurance and AD+D Insurance with a policy benefit up to $50,000. Voluntary Life Insurance Seven times the annual salary (up to $500,000 for team member, $250,000 for spouse). 100% of the premium is paid by team member.
  • Voluntary Short-Term Disability Insurance 60% of income benefit. 100% of the premium is paid by team member
