Mary's Woods is looking for a Concierge with exceptional communication and customer service skills to support our Health Services department. As the Concierge, you will perform a variety of administrative and reception duties for our guests, residents and team members while continuing to promote our mission and vision.

Mary's Woods is a premier senior living community in Lake Oswego that feels just like any progressive community in Portland. We provide residents with over 100 years of history in a 40-acre wooded wonderland. We are a not-for-profit Life Plan/Continuing Care Retirement Community that prides ourselves on our rich heritage, spirit of caring, welcoming culture, historic grounds and amazing views.

Below are some of the core responsibilities, experience and skills needed to be successful:

• Greet and direct visitors, vendors, delivery drivers, and residents helping with navigation
• Answer multi-line phone, respond to messages and direct calls appropriately
• Performs administrative, data entry and clerical tasks as assigned by department leadership
• Serve as a point of contact for nighttime communication and security
• Handle nighttime call-outs and fill the schedule as needed to assist staffing coordinators
• Monitor our on-call response times and report on this nightly for each 24-hour cycle
• Monitor healthcare neighborhood cameras and cover the floor as needed
• Act as a hub for communicating and informing oncoming staff of unfinished tasks or unmet resident/family needs

Education and Experience Required:

• Education and/or experience equivalent to the completion of a high school diploma or GED
• Minimum of two years of experience in customer service
• Proficient computer skills including Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite (word, excel, PowerPoint) with ability to learn software programs and databases as necessary
