Overview

Candidates need to have great passion for technology and connecting customers to products that enhance their everyday lives through exceptional customer service and technical expertise. We sell solutions-based products and services by building authentic connections with customers that drive long-lasting relationships. The In-Store Solutions Expert will work inside a retail store, and be the face of uBreakiFix, delivering award-winning, personalized customer experiences.

What you will do

· Resolve customer issues by diagnosing their electronic devices and managing the store’s repair queue

· Perform basic diagnostics and functionality tests and create detailed notes when intaking devices

· Position and offer Home+, accessories, and add-on services

· Managing store inventory

· Assist store manager with maintaining the repair queue and making sure that repairs are being done on schedule

Preferred Qualifications

· At least 6 months of supervisory/management experience
· Previous experience working at retail electronics store
· A+ certification
· Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT)
· Technical degree or certification in Electronics or Consumer Electronics

Tasks and Responsibilities:
– Meets or exceeds monthly sales/profit goals
– Fulfills operational requirements by effectively managing employee hours, work flow and reviewing work results
– Maintains talented staff by properly training and consistently coaching employees
– Achieves financial objectives by controlling expenditures; analyzing variances and metrics and initiating corrective actions
– Preserves success by coordinating and enforcing operational and personnel policies/procedures.
– Builds brand by establishing rapport with potential and existing customers
– Ensures availability of merchandise and services by maintaining and ordering inventory
– Leads team effort by accomplishing required tasks as needed
– Greet customers in a friendly manner and maintain a positive work environment
– Provide recommendations for problem resolution and proper repair estimates
– Explain complex technical issues to customers in a non-technical, simple to understand manner
– Ensure that all repairs meet or exceed UBREAKIFIX quality standards
– Answer phone calls with a professional, courteous and friendly demeanor
– Ensure that customers have an enjoyable experience by providing superior customer service and exceeding customer expectations
– Keep track of all devices and inventory while safeguarding all store stock
– Utilize the point of sale system to maintain an accurate record of customer information and a real-time status of each repair
– Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the store

What you need to be successful

· A passion for solving problems and delivering solutions

· A love for people and the devices that enrich their lives

· One or more years of customer service/retail sales experience preferred

· Reliable and flexible when it comes to dealing with difficult situations

· The ability to quickly adapt in an ever-changing environment

· Motivated to meet and exceed evolving key performance objectives

· Ability to work a flexible retail schedule

You are a good fit if you have

· At least six months experience with product service support or electronics troubleshooting

· Knowledge of mobile devices and operating systems

· High School diploma or equivalent preferred

· Strong oral and written communication skills

· Strong teamwork and collaboration skills

· Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office/Google Drive
