The Role
Boart Longyear is accepting resumes for the role of a Total Rewards Specialist based in our corporate office in West Valley City, UT. Our Total Rewards Specialist will support the following responsibilities and expectations:

• You will facilitate the research, design, analysis and administration of global compensation programs, policies, and procedures for our global operations. These include base pay, cash bonus, salary / hourly wage structures, separation pay programs and executive compensation programs that align with company objectives for recruiting, retention, and employee engagement.
• Research and generate local and global salary surveys and participates in global market analysis
• Partner with the Total Rewards Director in designing and implementing global compensation programs including the annual merit cycle, bonus & equity incentive plans
• Team with HRIS in managing the global job code structures
• Partner with HR and business functions to develop recommendations for offers, promotions, transfers and wage proposals with appropriate guidelines and policies.
• Become an expert on the system’s supporting Total Rewards (e.g. Payfactor)
• Partner with Total Rewards Director on special projects.

What’s Required?

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance of another related field
• 4 – 6 years as a HR Compensation Specialist/Analyst
• Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification (Desirable)
• Global Compensation experience (Desirable)
• Demonstrate strong company compensation analytics and computational skills
• Display order in setting priorities, multi-task, and meeting quick deadlines in a fast-paced work environment with attention to details and accuracy.
• Excellent written, verbal, listening, interpersonal, presentation and teamwork skills.
• Advanced MS Excel / Power point / Word skills.
