CARE is looking for an outgoing and amazing individual to fill the new community relations associate role on our award-winning team!

Position Summary:

  • Reach Out to Potential Partners. Develop and implement community outreach and engagement strategies to advance organizational goals and initiatives. Cultivate meaningful contact with community leaders and organizations to increase support, nurture outreach work, and foster relationships. Establish a minimum of one ongoing referral partner each with week tracking.
  • Coordinate Outreach Campaigns. Create meaningful gift giving strategies tailored to your prospects for referral relationships and community engagement. Attends all relevant community forums, trainings, and meetings as assigned and appropriate.
  • Attend Community Events. Represent CARE Counseling at various events, collect potential client and referral partner data while handing out swag and being a positive engaging representative.
  • Administrative Duties. Responsible for delivering exceptional administrative duties for the organization with minimal supervision and ensuring assigned areas run effectively. Key areas of responsibility include client relations and appointment coordination. Screen sensitive and confidential items that can be routinely handled and prepare appropriate responses or direct to appropriate party based on clinic protocols. Responsible for maintaining clinic intake calendar and other scheduling programs, timely response to inquiries and changes and adjusting as needed to clinician calendars.
  • Maintains referral partners and community programming resource guide.
  • Attend all required and assigned meetings and trainings.
  • Ability to follow through and focus on everyday tasks and additional responsibilities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Basic understanding of Microsoft products (word, excel, powerpoint etc.).
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external customers which includes staff, managers, and clients.

Eligibility:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or similar field preferred.
  • Be a self-starter with a high-level of self-direction, motivation, and energy.
  • Ability to complete at least 32-40 hours of work per week during normal business hours.
  • Be a strong communicator, including presentations and interpersonal skills.
  • Have strong organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • It is important that professional ethical standards are followed.
  • Confidential information is not to be disclosed at any time, and that you adhere to additional standards according to HIPAA.
  • Ability to pass the Rule 11 Criminal Background Screening and the Sexual Exploitation of Patients by Psychotherapists screen required by the Department of Human Services.
  • The ability to pass the screening required by Federal Human Services Office of Inspector General to assure the employee has not been excluded from working in the Health Care Programs which receive federal funding.
  • Current driver’s license along with a good driving record and valid insurance, if applicable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
