Community Education and Development Coordinator

Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is the premiere non-profit fully integrated healthcare provider of substance use and behavioral health programs in Arizona, including prevention, education and treatment using cutting-edge, nationally recognized, evidence-based models.

Job Summary

Promotes prevention and community development efforts by overseeing a variety of initiatives. This position ensures the success of established community education presentations, and aids in the creation of new material. This position is responsible for all community engagement and outreach components, per grant requirements. This position will oversee a community coalition in the City of Mesa, called the Mesa Prevention Alliance.

Skills/Requirements:

• Highschool diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree or higher in behavioral health or related field preferred.
• 5 years of appropriate experience in managing, coordinating, or implementing community-based public health programs required.
• Must show proficiency experience in the following computer programs: Word processing in a Windows environment, Adobe Products, Excel, Access Database and PowerPoint.
• Must be able to display verbal and written communication skills that meet the requirements of the position and needs of funders and community liaisons.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Fingerprint clearance card required.
