Keene State College provides a vibrant on campus living opportunity with residential areas consisting of traditional suites and apartment complexes. Community Director’s create meaningful opportunities for student growth and learning through programming, advising, participating in the on-call rotation, serving as a conduct hearing officer, being an active member of divisional and College committees, and is an integral component of Keene State College’s focus on advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion.
There is a renewed focus on building strong communities for our residential students. Community Directors now serve as team leads for our Community CARES initiative and serve as First Year Seminar Facilitators. This focus is intentional, student centered, and dynamic in meeting the ever changing needs of our students. The Community Directors are vital parts of the Office of Transitions & Community Living and the Division of Enrollment & Student Engagement at Keene State College.

Experience in the following areas:
- staff supervision
- creating, developing, and assessing educational and social programming for students
- residence hall facility administration
- demonstrated ability to interact with a wide variety of constituencies including students, families, faculty, and staff
- proficiency with Microsoft Office and current social media platforms
- proven written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
