In the role of Communications & Engagement Summer Student you will work with Communications and Engagement team within Technology and Information Services to build engagement, create articles, newsletters, and internal posts regarding activities, ideas, etc. in TIS. It’s an excellent job for people who are creative in ideation and seeing those ideas through to execution.

Placement Details:

This is an 4-month placement starting in May 2023, located in Houston, TX.

What you will do:

  • Research and write content for internal and external audiences, including LinkedIn content, newsletter articles, Intranet news, ELink posts, etc.
  • Work with Enbridge branding to develop supporting communications material, including photography, videos, graphics, etc.
  • Build a digital asset library to house the communications material developed
  • Compile and analyze metrics related to Intranet and email tracking
  • Provide support for events involving leaders, students and other stakeholders

Who you are:

  • You are currently enrolled in a full time post-secondary program studying marketing or communications and will be returning to full time school immediately following the work term.
  • Effective and professional communication both verbal and written with ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Solid computer skills and experience using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to actively and consistently represent Enbridge’s core values (Safety, Integrity, Respect).

Working Conditions:

  • Office based role, located in Houston, TX.
  • Relocation assistance is not provided.
