Avera is currently seeking a Communications and Public Relations Partner!

Job Summary
- Implement communication strategies and tactics, and messages from leadership for the region, for specific audiences of employees, leadership and governance.
- Serve as the local resource for implementation of communications and public relations duties.
- Achieve communication goals and objectives of department while managing resources effectively for both corporate/organizational communications and local communications.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required in Journalism, Marketing, Communications/English/Education or related field is required.
- Five years related experience is preferred.
- Health care industry experience is preferred.
Work Schedule
- Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm with occasional evenings and weekends; 80 hours every 2 weeks
- Weekends: as needed for events
- Holidays: some on-call time
- On call rotation: one week every two months
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
- $36.75 - $55.50 per hour
