Job description
We are seeking a talented, motivated individual to join our company as a Communications Coordinator. As part of our marketing team, you will develop broad communications strategies across various emerging media, implementing and developing campaigns to reach and engage customers. You will build email marketing campaigns, website content, and different forms of written content and report on relevant campaign analytics and KPIs. You may also work with other marketing and design professionals to produce marketing collateral for events, meetings, and targeted campaigns. This is a hybrid role with expected travel 2-3 times monthly to various locations in NY and CT.
Key responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with special events, special projects, and various other initiatives
- Build a roadmap for communication strategy
- Plan, research, manage and write content for website, presentations, and email marketing campaigns.
- Conduct A/B test of email campaigns
- Optimize content based on SemRush analytics
- Work with email automation software, sending mass emails/texts
- Optimize user segments based on the focus of the email
- Monitoring and analysis of the campaign's results
- Stay informed on email trends and share the best practices with the team.
Desired skills and experience:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with email marketing and delivery automation platforms (e.g., ActiveCampaign, Mailchimp, SalesForce Marketing Cloud)
- Understanding of best email practices (testing, dynamic content, communication flows, etc.) and user segmentation
- Utilize data analytics to optimize campaign performance
- Well-organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, often with a deadline.
- Ability to work in a face paced environment that is deadline driven
