This position is responsible for assisting with overseeing daily workflows related to daily maintenance and account information requests, loan booking and funding, reporting, assisting with department related projects, complex problem resolution, process improvements, and monitoring of department related tasks and workflows. Position Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily work of the assigned business units' loan booking, funding, and servicing. Monitor pipeline/queues to confirm work is completed within Service Level Agreement timeframes. Ensure all loan documentation submitted is appropriate and accurate as required by the Bank's credit policy, state and federal regulations and general lending documentation standards. Work directly with the all lending units to ensure compliance.

  • Manage the daily loan operations relative to booking, funding and servicing the Bank's commercial and business banking loan portfolios.
  • Ensure Horizon Core System, CLOS, nCino, DataScan, Sharepoint and other core system functionality is used properly and to its fullest capacity in order to optimize efficiency and ensure data quality.
  • Accurately interpret loan documents and properly reflect all terms and conditions in the Bank’s core system.
  • Ensure team members are cross-trained to provide coverage during vacations and team member sick days/leaves of absences.
  • Measure team performance to established Service Level Agreements for operational tasks that are recognized by supported business units.
  • Ensure team members are performing assigned responsibilities according to approved departmental procedures. Update procedures as required.
  • Identify team members’ individual skills sets, maximize utilization of strengths and develop team members’ skills accordingly.
  • Establish a strong relationship with the various lending units along with other key stakeholders to ensure efficiency, compliance, and an excellent customer experience.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations and Bank policy.
  • Promote a positive work environment, one that encourages teamwork and creates a learning culture.

Additional knowledge required:

  • Strong familiarity with all loan documentation pertaining to Commercial Loans.
  • Ability to lead a team to achieve goals, meet deadlines, and create a positive working environment.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 5 years’ experience in banking operations area(s).
  • Knowledge and understanding of state and federal regulations.
  • Strong computer skills, with working knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs.
  • Knowledge of the following systems are desired:
    • FIS Horizon, nCino and Datascan
  • Strong financial and business acumen and ability to communicate clearly across all levels of management.
  • Solid decision-making, critical thinking and problem solving abilities.
  • Proven leadership qualities with an ability to develop and execute strategy.
  • Solid performance management experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills; deadline oriented.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with a focus on providing excellent internal and external customer service.
  • Ability to work independently in a multi-tasking environment while meeting critical deadlines.
