Impact you will make

The Commercial Operations Analyst plays a key role in the design, development and implementation of processes and tools that support the Commercial sales cycle. This position provides support for management of Salesforce.com (SFDC) including project management, creating and maintaining documentation, defining process for quality assurance and reliability of the data.

What you will do

  • Serve as the SFDC subject matter expert; lead and design SFDC-based process efficiencies.
  • Own the delivery of detailed Commercial reporting and insights analysis, to include: weekly bookings/loss forecasts; forecast accuracy; trending of pipeline, forecasts, bookings, loss, revenue, gross margin, and win/loss intelligence.
  • Collaborate within the Commercial Organization to develop and implement tools and processes to improve sales productivity and efficiency including but not limited to researching and sharing best practices and cross team communication.
  • Work with Commercial leadership to develop, maintain, and assess key operational metrics for Commercial team members.
  • Direct the process and flow of information for account planning, forecasting, customer management/initiatives, and internal Commercial reporting.
  • Ability to analyze large data sets and distill into storytelling bullets. Present insights by region, market, line of business, brand, product and other multi facet touchpoints in order to inform and drive policy to exceed growth targets.
  • Establish solid working relationships with FinThrive IT business and technology partners to better understand their business directions, drivers, and requirements, working across business lines to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the Commercial team.
  • Participate in cross-department project teams to design and develop participant and instructional materials.
  • Drive adoption of SFDC and other key sales tools through focus on continuous development of Seller-centric feature/function; recommend changes and lead testing efforts and deployment of changes to production instance.
  • Work closely with business partners, sales leadership, and sales representatives on SFDC training needs for the Sellers and specific SFDC training needs for all lines of business.
  • Interview Sellers, understand their processes, and convert sales documents into training materials that clearly and effectively communicate roles and responsibilities and their impact on expected business results.

What you will bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics or related field
  • 3+ years sales force effectiveness, sales resource optimization, sales support or similar experience
  • Extensive Salesforce.com or other CRM experience is required, with specific focus in report and dashboard builds
  • Advanced understanding of sales process and forecasting methodologies is preferred
  • Solid proficiency in core Microsoft Office products (Word / Excel / SharePoint / PPT) is required
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, able to plan, meet deadlines, prioritize projects and manage a cross-functional team
  • Self-starter with ability to drive cross-functional/multi-discipline project teams
  • Must have the ability to handle multiple activities with a short turn-around time and work both independently and with a team
  • Ability to build and foster meaningful relationships with internal and external customers is required
  • Ability to work flexibly, adapting quickly to change and new ways of working is required
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others across the organization.
  • Track record in establishing a high level of credibility quickly; appropriate confidence to gain the trust and respect of key stakeholders and leaders
  • Excellent communication skills: written, verbal & presentation

What we would like to see

  • Experience with SFDC-based CPQ tools
  • Knowledge of Power BI tool or other Business Intelligence tools
  • Prior experience with sales compensation plan management
  • Previous sales leadership experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 per year
