Position: Commercial Management Co-Op

Education Recommendations


Currently a candidate for bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, Business Major or related field with an accredited school in US.


What you will learn and contribute to


As part of our team, you will learn and contribute to:

  • Collaborate with the Cloud and Network Services Market Unit leader, Account Manager & Solution Manager to define the optimal Offer Pricing Strategy consistent with optimized offer scope and any potential upsides.
  • Ensure that the Business Case is in line with the defined Commercial Strategy and identify areas for improvement and optimization together with all Business Groups (example: configuration, scope of work, scope of compliance)
  • Be the interface to Sales for pricing topics & commercial aspects until negotiation is concluded
  • Drive, together with Solution Manager, definition of customer Bill of Quantity format during bid kick off, and ensures correct inputs to Account Manager for Customer Pricing File consolidation, in line with approved pricing
  • Identify all commercial risks for evaluation and mitigation
  • Prepare approval material and manage approval for the offers
  • Brief Business Group approvers on the commercial Strategy & pricing details before each approval call & ensure the capture of competitor pricing intelligence from the case
  • Support Account Manager on customer presentation and negotiations, regarding commercial aspects. Advise him on the translation of Nokia Pricing Tool to customer Pricing
  • Support project handover to the delivery team

What is Nokia looking for from me

You have:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, and accountability
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Excel

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Basic understanding of finance & accounting, as well as financial forecasting & reporting process
  • Knowledge of Wireless Networks
