Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott, LLC, a full-service national law firm, is seeking a Litigation Associate for its Boston, MA office. The attorney hired for this position will work directly with partners and other associates on civil litigation matters in a fast paced, active practice environment. Direct communication and interaction with clients is also anticipated.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of commercial litigation experience
• Excellent academic credentials and strong drafting skills
• Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Expertise in state and federal court civil procedure
• Competence and desire to manage independently a variety of active civil matters across broad topic areas
• Ability to distill research into meaningful and persuasive written work product and oral presentations
• Court and deposition experience will be strongly considered
• Licensed to practice in the state and federal courts of Massachusetts
