Commercial Kitchen Equipment Installer
Location: Daily City and surrounding areas in Northbay
Employment Full-time - Hourly

The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting with equipment installations (ovens, refrigeration, chillers, ice machines, fryers, etc.) and maintenance as required. The candidate will assist with the assembly of equipment and inspect for proper operation, uncrating, and moving of equipment into position. The individual will be responsible for driving service and delivery truck to the intended destination to deliver or pick up equipment with the use of a lift-gate. Must also assist other office employees and Service Technicians as required. Must be willing to work hours as needed.

Basic Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED or related experience
• Driver's license in good standing and can meet insurance requirements
• 1+ year experience in related field.

· Certified to operate a forklift (the company will certify you if necessary

· Pass a DOT physical where required

Knowledge

• Basic Knowledge of welding, hydraulics and/or electrical skills
• Understand how to troubleshoot mechanical problems
• Basic plumbing and soldering knowledge
• Basic knowledge of electrical
• Basic knowledge of moving tools and equipment

Skills/Abilities

Ability to work with mechanical/electrical equipment within all company safety guidelines

· Ability to operate pallet jack

• Customer service skills- resolving customer issues, ensuring appropriate communication with customers and following up on customer requests

· Ability to think on your feet and troubleshoot unexpected situations

• Ability to manage expense reports and travel budgets.

· Ability to work well independently and in teams

Preferred Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

· Valid CDL license

· Experience working with commercial kitchen equipment

· Skilled with hand and power tools

Physical Requirements/Environment:

• Able to up to 50-75 lbs with or without assistance
• Able to climb up to 8 ft with ladder. Working on roofs of building will be required
• Extensive driving up to 8-10 hours/day may be required
• Kneeling, squatting, bending, pushing/pulling required
• Exposure to noise, heat, cold, slippery, wet conditions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour
