SUMMARY/OBJECTIVES

It is the responsibility of the Commercial Client Services Manager to take ownership of all tasks and challenges that they encounter in the operation of their assigned position. The Commercial Client Services Manager will provide support for the Commercial Loan Assistants on a daily basis. The position will work closely with the Commercial Operations Manager to develop, implement, communicate, and management of a framework to support the ongoing development, review, approval, distribution, and maintenance of Commercial policies and procedures consistent with required banking laws and regulations. They will do this through partnership with the Commercial Strategy team and each region. They will support calls and emails from loan assistants to answer policy and procedure questions.

The responsibilities will include, but not limited to, the following items listed below.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assist with the facilitation and coordination of the development, review, approval, distribution, and maintenance of policies and procedures established for Commercial
  • Assist with the facilitation and coordination of Loan assistant training on procedural and/or policy changes
  • Develop policies and procedures as needed for Commercial. Policies and procedures should contain adequate and accurate information, be clearly written for ease of understanding, and all should be grammatically correct with no spelling errors. Assignments should be completed within the timeframe designated by the Commercial Business Analyst and the Commercial Strategy team.
  • Maintain storage and organization of all policies and procedures in a central inventory
  • Publish policies within commercial policy manuals posted on the Intranet to ensure manuals remain up to date with the most current versions of policies
  • Review policies and procedures submitted for reasonableness and completeness to ensure documents are in the format of established templates and contain all required information
  • Ensures compliance with all bank policies and procedures, as well as, state, federal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provides Loan assistances with assistance by answering phone calls and emails regarding commercial procedures and polices
  • Assists others in the commercial strategy department regarding various administrative matters.
  • Complete other team projects as assigned within the timeframes prescribed.

COMPETENCIES

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize work
  • Knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Qualifications, Education, and Certification Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience: At least 7 Years in Commercial processing/underwriting/operations.
  • Certifications/Specific Knowledge:

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/CLASSES

Required annual compliance training; New Employee Orientation

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Examples: Must be able to effectively access and interpret information on computer screens, documents, reports, and cash denominations, and identify customers. This position requires a large amount of time in front of a computer. This can be done sitting or standing with use of the right desk.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Telecommuting roles no matter if hybrid or 100% full time telecommuting must have a secure home office environment that is free from background noise and distractions. They must also have a reliable private internet connection that is not supplied by use of cellular data (hot spot). Cable or fiber connections are preferred. Requirements are subject to change, as new systems and technology is delivered. Travel may be required to come to meetings as needed
