As a Carpenter for McNeil Company, you will work in the field on day-to-day operations. You will make a direct impact on the successful completion of construction projects throughout Nebraska. CARPENTER ROLE OBJECTIVES AND QUALIFICATIONS

• General use of a multitude of power tools.
• Demonstrate best safety practices while working at heights, moving construction materials, lifting various objects up to 100lbs, and working in all-weather elements.
• Ability to read a tape measure, perform simple layouts, read drawings, specifications, shop drawings and submittals.
• Ability to finish & trim carpentry, architectural casework, doors, frames, and hardware
• Understand building types and construction methods
• Prepare and maintain work areas for safety and cleanliness.
• Mark, cut and assemble materials to exact measurements.
• Fit and install prefabricated frames, trim, and hardware.
• Verify accuracy of structurers with tools such as a laser, framing square and carpenter levels.
• Operate equipment-skid loader, forklift, pumps, lifts.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
