Position Overview
RMGS, Inc. is currently recruiting COMET Liaison Officer (LNO) to aid in meeting Army objectives for deployment and to conduct logistics training, assess equipment readiness and provide corrective solutions to systemic problems at Ft. Bragg, NC & other multiple locations CONUS.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Estimated POP: 30 June 2022 – 29 June 2027

Roles and Responsibilities

Responsible for logistics coordination and facilitating briefings, meetings, teleconferences, and other forms of communication or exchanges between FORSCOM G4 and the PM or other Contractor personnel located at the various service locations.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Shall have, at a minimum, of five years’ experience in management of tasks involving the sustainment and maintenance of all Army supplies and equipment. To include the following functional areas:
    • The Army Maintenance Management System
    • The Army Materiel Maintenance Policy
    • Supply Policy Below the National Level
    • Using Unit Supply Systems
    • Physical Security
    • Environmental Programs
  • Proficiency in the following Logistics Information Systems:
    • Standard Army Maintenance System-Enhanced (SAMS-E)Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSS-ARMY)
    • Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced (PBUSE)
    • Decision Support Tool (DST)
    • Standard Army Retail Supply System (SARSS)
    • Standard Army Ammunition System Modernization (SASMOD)
    • Theater Operations Automated Movement and Identification Solutions (TC-AIMS)
    • Very Small Aperture Terminal (V-SAT)
    • Materiel Common Operating Picture (M-COP)
    • Microsoft Office
  • Knowledgeable in:
    • Army Award for Maintenance Excellence.
    • Army Oil Analysis Program
    • Army Warranty Program
    • Sample Data Collection Program
    • Army Modification Program
    • Army maintenance Floats
    • Drivers Training
    • Product quality deficiency and/or improvement reports

  • Shall have a minimum SECRET clearance at the phase-in start date.
  • Shall be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Shall possess the ability to communicate directly to and through correspondence with senior Army leaders to include General Officer levels.
  • Shall possess experience in the analysis of command logistics programs to include shortcomings, development of corrective recommendations and presentation of findings to the senior leadership for decision.
  • Shall be U.S. citizens unless the provisions of Army Regulation 25-2, Information Assurance have been fully completed and approval has been granted by the Government for the non-U.S. citizen to perform the required support.
