Assist CCR program with day-to-day office duties, including answering the phone, filing paperwork, office coverage, and greeting students; register new and returning students to the CCR program; assist with program close-outs, monthly attendance sheets, and instructor payroll; assist Director with HSE graduation; scan CCR paperwork into Etrieve Content for storage; Assist with post-testing and CCR Orientation, as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist the program coordinators and instructors concerning all College and Career Readiness programs (ABE/HSE, HSE On-line, AHS, ELA, and Family Literacy).
  • Assist with registering students in Colleague/Advansys
  • Assist with creating sections and class section packets
  • Enter LEIS data in Colleague/Advansys, as needed
  • Assist with program close-outs for ICR report, including reviewing monthly student attendance and assisting with monthly payroll
  • Student release report for ICR report
  • Schedule new students for orientation
  • Make calls to students to remind them of orientation dates
  • Prepare orientation student folders
  • Assist with orientation and post-testing, as needed
  • Assist Director in planning and coordinating the annual HSE graduation ceremony
  • Scan CCR paperwork into Etrieve Content for storage
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Other essential office duties as assigned

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common correspondence and reports.
  • Ability to articulate professional responses to common inquiries and/or complaints from students, faculty, staff, or the public-at-large.
  • Ability to write using proper grammar and punctuation.
  • Ability to effectively present information.


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
  • Ability to apply and understand standard mathematical operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as budget preparation, frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.

REASONING ABILITY:
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
  • Understanding of and commitment to the unique nature and role of the College and to the philosophy of the community college system.
Required Qualifications
Associate’s Degree in Office Admin., Business or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Business or a related field.
College and Career Readiness/WIOA Experience. Knowledgeable of the National Reporting System (NRS) for student educational gains and transitioning studies procedures.
