COMMUNITY COLLEGE AIR FORCE ADVISOR

*Position is Contingent upon Contract Award

PART-TIME

Location: Lompoc, CA (AFB)

The Community College Air Force Advisor Services tasks:

Qualifications:

• Required to have a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must pass a background check.
• Experience cannot be substituted for a baccalaureate degree.
• Two years or more of experience in adult/military education academic advising is required as evidenced by documented employment from the academic advising office of a college or university or military education center as an academic advisor.
• Shall have knowledge of or experience with Air Force terminology, office procedures, and education programs is preferred.
• Shall be familiar with Outlook, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access is also preferred.
• Must be thoroughly familiar with the DANTES test program and advises students of DANTES tests that are applicable to their programs of study.

Hours and Performance:

Work hours will be 30 hours per week from 9:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M. Monday through Friday, with a one-hour lunch from 12:00 P.M. – 1:00 P.M.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
