CNC Programmer/Automation Technician

Responsibilities & Requirements:

Under the direction of the Production Director, the CNC Programmer/Automation Technician will be responsible for the following:

· General Maintenance and upkeep of CNC equipment.

· Assist in research and development, implementing new technology.

· Assist in the day-to-day tasks, which include 2D drawings.

· Mechanical & Electrical troubleshooting on equipment.

· Communicate with machinery manufacturer’s service department via email or phone in resolving issues whenever nessasary.

· Determining weak spots of any automated machinery and operation to decrease machine downtime, minimize recurring issues & improve efficiencies.

· Participate as needed or requested in new machine launches, equipment, and installations.

Experience:

· CNC Programming.

· Exceptional documentation skills are mandatory.

· Ability to read and understand component, machine design, pneumatic, electrical schematics, and blueprints.

· Proven experience handling multiple tasks, changing priorities.

· Spanish Speaking (Preferred).

· Forklift experience beneficial.

· Must be able to lift 30+ (Heavy lifting required)

· Experience with SCM, Unique, and other general woodworking machinery is a plus.

· AlphaCAM experience is a plus.
