Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Review and analyze the CNC program effectiveness via process capability during development.

· Produce Tool design models and/or drawings for tooling required of metallic components and assemblies, composite components, and assemblies.

· Provide professional CNC Programming and project engineering/management of new business from Contract Review through to delivery of product.

· Plan and produce milling and turning CNC programs as well as drive and direct
engineering/manufacturing process planning in accordance with customer.

· Provide CNC Programs for 5 axis routing applications using Mastercam software.

· Assist production demands through first-piece fabrication support and as required through part fabrication cycle.

· Support sales effort through cost estimating for quotes from customers.

· Promote continuous improvement with respect to manufacturing and quality.

Qualifications

· Must be able to read and understand blueprints and process specifications. Must be familiar with the engineering and processing of composites.

· Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

· Should have knowledge of CATIA Design software; Epicor software; Excel Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software, Windows, and Outlook.

· This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required

Education and/or Experience

· Exposure to CNC programming software required

· Prior aerospace manufacturing background desired

· Minimum 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment including Milling and Turning CNC Programming,
