$10-$12/hour based on experience

Job Purpose:

This entry level position with on-the-job training and growth opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented, and energetic individual to join our team to help operate CNC Machines and fabricate parts.

You must be a solid team-player with a good attitude and general flexibility to adapt to a changing job description. We are growing fast, and job tasks often change as needs dictate to best support the team. When necessary, individuals will cross-train and participate in other aspects of the business, including administrative activities.

Primary Responsibilities

Machine Operation - Setup and operate CNC machining centers and other shop equipment to fabricate parts to established specifications. Includes preparing materials for machining (cutting, drilling, etc.)

Machine Maintenance - Inspect equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment. Perform basic and routine adjustments and maintenance. Communicate machine or quality issues.

Shop Maintenance - Maintain and clean shop area. Keep the floor free of debris and spills, etc. Maintain organized work areas.

Performs all assigned machine shop operations.

Skills/Qualifications

• Basic computer and math skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Highly skilled and experienced in working with hand tools, power tools, and other automated machine tools.
• Ability to take measurements and use measuring devices.
• Must be able to communicate clearly.
• Must be motivated and focused.
• Working knowledge of machine tooling is highly preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods, and occasionally to stoop and kneel.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs on a regular basis.
