CNA Openings

The Trempealeau Co Health Care Center has openings for Certified Nursing Assistants. The position will work closely with residents and has the potential to advance into other areas with further training. We have different positions open, with a variety of opportunities for hours and days of work.

$16.84 - $19.91 per hour

$1500 sign on bonus

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities and daily living needs to our clients
• Document and charting as required
• Complete vitals as client care plans require
• Assist with mealtime responsibilities
• Keep the living area safe and clean for clients
• Follow care plans as specified for each individual
• Assist with client transfer needs as requested
• Follow all care plans such as doctor’s orders, treatment plans or other instructions provided
• Help with medication as directed by licensed practitioners

Training

• Attend and complete training as required by the Trempealeau County Health Care Center
• Obtain Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (CPI) Certificate
• Comply with all Federal, State, and County laws /Be knowledgeable of and respect residents’ rights

Other Skills

• Able to use kitchen equipment/utensils
• Clean as needed
• Use outdoor equipment for snow removal, mowing or other tasks

Education

• High school diploma or GED

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• Valid Wisconsin Driver's License
• Valid certification on the State of Wi Nurse Aid Registry
• CPR certification

Pay: $16.84 - $19.91 per hour
